The bucket on this secondary hoist was about 3' by 4'. It served during the middle 1940s to carry lunches and supplies to the technicians working at the CCL hut. And if I could persuade one of the civilian engineers to ride up the south hoist with me to operate it, I would ride the bucket to the CCL house rather tha walking, particularly after too long an evening at Honey's bar in Kaneohe.
